Interactive Shading
If you have a high poly model and its causing your display to lag when you rotate around the scene, go to shading>interactive shading.

Now when you move your camera, it will switch to wireframe view, which is easier on your display, and when you stop moving the camera, it will go back to shaded.

Note: This only works if youre in shaded view to start with.
